Can I travel outside US after filing my application

It has been a little more than 4 years and 9 months since I have got my Green Card. As per the USCIS guidelines, I believe I can file for my citizenship application. I have 2 questions and would appreciate if someone on this forum can help me -

1. Residence test - Should I be staying in the state/city of application fo LAST 90 days? Does it mean that if I have travelled outside my current state or US in last 90 days, I cannot file my application? I think it just means "Must have been residing in the state you are applying in for at least three months".

2. Once I apply, can I go to India for a short trip of 2 weeks before interview date?

The reason I am asking because I have to visit India for a couple of weeks and want to know should I wait until I get my citizenship or I can file my application and go to India and comeback in 2 weeks.

Thanks in advance for your help.

... you can travel. You should not have changed residence - i.e., your home / place of residence.

... you can travel. Legally, there is no problem, and procedurally, you will usually get more than 2 weeks notice for the interview so you should have more than enough time to change plans, if need be.
