can I travel outside of the country when I have H1-B and I-485 pending

I have H1-B (without stamping since I've never left US after getting H1-B approval) and I-485 pending based on my husband's green card application. I have not got Advanced Parole yet.

My company needs to send me to London, UK for a business trip. The company thinks it's okay to leave US but many friends advice me not to leave US at all during changing status w/o Advanced Parole.

Can you please advice. Thanks very much in advance.
 
There is no problem going outside US, when ur 485 is pending.
But u need a H stamping or AP to enter US.

As u dont have a H stamping or AP, u need to get the H stamped in the US consulate outside US.
If u have time for ur trip - apply for AP and also send the passport to st.Louis for stmaping.

since you don't have a H1B visa stamped in ur pp so you can't revalidate in St louis,you shouldn't travel outside US without AP,I guess you might already be having EAD....just wait for I485 approval

---- Don’t leave the US without Advance parole, first get the AP approval in hand, the company info is wrong and your friends are correct.
