Can I travel on H4?

Hi

Can some one tell me, do I need AP or I can travel on my H4. I traveled last year with AP but one of my friend traveled on H4 with no problem.

I would really appreciate the answer.

Depends on what your status is... Since you already entered using AP, your H4 status is no longer valid. So you need to travel on AP till your 485 is approved.

My 2 cents

OK to travel in H4 as long as you have not worked with EAD.

Recenltly there has been a long long discussion with email replies from Murthy - please do a search.
