Can i travel for Xmas??? please advice

guys i just came back. All went well. I crossed with a valid H1b visa and no questions asked on my AOS. Got a new I-94 and that was it.
By the way , is my work permit replacing my I-94? in other words, I can stay beyond the date on my I-94 now right? so what do i do with the i-94 after?

If you get approved at the interview, the IO will take your I-94 from you. If he/she forgets to do it, feel free to just throw it out - you won't need after your green card is approved. :)

EAD, however, doesn't replace your I-94. What matters is that your AOS is pending, and you can legally stay in the U.S. until the day USCIS makes the decision on your AOS.

To be on H1 status, you can not work beyond I-94. If you want to work beyond I-94 expiration, you have to extend H1 or you use EAD to work.
