Absoluetely. You can do any job with EAD. Just remember that, when you use EAD, you loose your H1/H4/L1/L2 status. You need to update your current employer about this change (by filling up a new I-9 form).

You will have to switch to an EAD at work as well, effectively losing your H1 status, but most definitely you can hold both jobs.
