Can I take my cell phone in the San Francisco DO for interview?

I have an interview coming up and would like to take the BART (subway), do I have to leave my cell phone at home? Or do the immigration people allow cell phones in the building?

No cell phones will be allowed inside the USCIS building but I believe if you tell the security guard about your sitiuation, you can ask them to hold your cell phone at the front door otherwise, you'll have to throw your cell phone on the street in order to get in to the building. If I were you, just take a full day off, leave the cell at home then after the interview, go back home and celebrate.

You can leave your phone at the cafe opposite the DO (444 Washington Street or something, right?). They charge $3 for everything you have, so you can leave a whole bag. Check to see their opening times, though.
