Can I take another job if 140 is approved?

My company applied for my Green Card 9 years ago in EB3 category. My labor and 140 are cleared. I have completed 12 years on H1. In case my company goes out of business, can I use my current approved 140 to get another job? Does it make a difference if the job is in different part of the country? Does it make a difference if the new job has a different profile (developer vs. manager, or in a different domain)?
