Can i take 1 year break before 6 years of H1

Hi
I was on H1B visa for 3 years and the i went back to India and joined a new company.Now this new Indian company send me back to US on a new H1B after spending 6 months in India. My question is :-

- Will this 6 month period be counted toward my 6 year total period of H1B?
- Till date i have spend 5 years combined in US through the 2 companies. Can i take the 1 year break now and come back on new H1B for 6 years?
