Can I swap my I-485 petition? Mr. Mills etc. please advise

I have filed an I-485 with VSC and my wife is the secondary applicant. Both of us have finished Fingerprinting and have also got the A# (Alien Nos.) I now wish to swap the petition and use my wife\'s recently approved I-140 to be the main petition and make mine the secondary petition.

How does one accomplish this?

Please advise. Your help will be very much appreciated.

I had the same idea several months ago,

I even read a posting at "www.immigration-law.com" indicating that INS policy allows that. I had my attorney call VSC to see if they allow "switching of I-140" and I was told they do not.
