Can I submit a W9 form through a company that doesn't sponsor H1B

I'm holding H1B visa from company A. Now I'm think of working
part time for free for company B which doesn't sponsor H1B. Company B, however, will submit W9 form to IRS per company rule even though I'm working there without getting paid. My question is whether submitting W9 form by company B will violate the terms and conditions applied to my current H1B visa. Thanks.

If w-9 is for tax identification number, your ssn is tax id number.
