Can I stay untill the date mentioned in I-94 ?

Hello friends,
this is sandeep tangudu. I came to US to give CPA exams on a B1 VISA expiring on 27th Sep, 2007. But at the P.O.E. the officers stamped it as 15th Jan, 2008. So my doubt is that can I stay untill the date mentioned in I-94 legally ? If so, will I have any kind of problems if I extend my stay untill the date mentioned in I-94 when I go for US VISA the next time because I plan to come back to US on H1B VISA ? Hope I will get a reply from u friends.....:)

You can stay as long as your I-94 is valid. Your visa expiry date has no connection with your I-94 validity. Just make sure you leave fore the I-94 expires.
