can I stay here with EAC ?

Hi,

My H1 will expire in 2 month, I have my EAC which may expire in 10 months, my employer is not likely to extend my H1 due to IT situation.

Can I stay in US with my EAC after H1 expires or have to go back to my country?

Yes

You can work and stay legaly in US using your EAD card till its expiration, If GC is still pending, you can apply for its renewal. In the unlikely event of denial of GC, EAD too gets withdrawn and you may have to leave.

But, don't worry you will get approval.
