If I have Canadian citizenship and on h1-b visa status working for a US employer, can I start a side hustle and start a US-based online business, as long as I am operating/working on the business while I am physically in Canada?
I know normally you only can have passive income if you want to start a business in US on h1-b, and cannot be involved with day to day operations, but does that only apply to when im physically in US? If I do everything when im in my home country, i can participate in day to day operations legally?
