Can I sponser my BIL's MIL?

Hello,

My brother-in-law stays in FL, United states and I am in CA and he wants to bring his mother-in-law as his wife is expecting a baby. His VISA is expired and can not bring the his mother-in-law till it gets approved.

He has requested me to check, if I can sponser his MIL. My in laws are already here staying with me and are sponsered by me.

With this situation, can I sponser my BIL's MIL?

If his visa is expired he must have applied for an extension. Using that receipt is enough for him to sponsor. His papers should be current anyways to be legal here.

Quite possibly the consulate will ask for their papers anyways.

My BIL's I-94 is current but VISA expired.

Just send the current papers with the extension notice. No problems.
