Can I reply RFE by myself?

Hi All,
I got RFE email on 09/13/04, can I reply RFE by myself, not through lawyer? Is it legal to it?

I-140 is employer's petition and not our own petition. I don't think it is advisable to reply to an RFE by yourself. Try to contact some lawyer and send reply through him.

But Makesure you review the lawyer's product. Often times, Lawyers do a half-ass job -- you definitely want to be in the loop. I have responded on my own since i had issues with my lawyer.
