Can I renew my H1-B by myself?

My company attorney applied H1-B visa for me three years ago. Buy my company policy does't allow the H1-B renewal after my I140 is approved. I am wondering if I can renew my H1-B without paying the company attorney? In other words, DIY.

I think it should be possible, however, if the company policy is just against paying for H1 renewal, you probably can offer to pay. If on the other hand they are against filing - you are out of luck. H1B application requires lot of company related docs, and should be signed and filed on behalf of the company. Individuals can't file H1B for themselves.
 
Thanks. Actually, my company attorney said they can file it if I pay. But I want to save that money. From what you said, I can't renew H1-B by myself.
