Can I renew I-94 from within the US

Hi Guys

I was wondering if anybody could help me. My H1B is valid till June 2007 but the last time I travelled, the lady at the gate stamped my I94 till end of May this year, as my passport was expiring end of May. I have renewed my passport since then and I was wondering if I could get my I-94 extended from within the US as I have no immediate travel plans.

I have the exactly same situation as you, sharky77uk. Plus, I was told by port officer to go to INS to get my I-94 renewed. But I have no idea which INS office I should go to. I didn't find anything specifically for this kind of case on INS website. Have you had your I-94 renewed?
