but if thats your "employer" it might not work!

I have known people who were partners in their own firm cuz their H1 required them to be an employee.

What I mean is I still work full time in my current company holding EAD. At the mean time, open a small business do some part time consulting, is it going to work legally?

you can have a part-time business while in ead.
