Can I make copies double-sided instead of one sided?

This might be silly question – but I still need to know the answer. I am preparing documents for interview (utility bills, statements etc) and I was wondering can I make copies on both sides of the paper instead just on front? This will greatly reduce the amount of papers that I have to carry.

Every country has their rules and I just wanted to double check.

Photocopy only those sides that have information relevant you your case. No need to blindly copy both sides.

You just need copy the page that has your name and address, for example electric bill do not make a copy of the whole thing just make copy of the page with your name and address.

I think the OP is referring to having the copier printing on 2 sides of each paper, so only half the number of sheets of paper would be necessary.
