My I-140 approved on Nov 2005. I-485 pending from Sep 2005. PD is Sep 2005. EB2 India. Got 3rd H1B extension for 3 yrs based on pending 485(1st H1b - 2.5 yrs, 2nd 2.5 yrs). Now looking to change employer/job. I have 140 and 485 Receipt numbers, i don't know what the job title/responsibilities on my LC or I-140. Also Planning to apply EAD for my spouse and myself next month.

Now Questions.

1) Can i switch employer using AC21 without EAD?
2) If yes, can i just transfer my current 3 yr H1B to the new employer and apply EAD thru them?
3) How to find out the job title and responsibilities on my LC/I-140?

I really appreciate your sincere reply.

Thanks

--------------let the new employer file H1 transfer and once the petition reach USCIS or you get H1 transfer filing reciept join new employer
2) If yes, can i just transfer my current 3 yr H1B to the new employer and apply EAD thru them?
--You Can Transfer join once the H1 transfer petition reach the USCIS. EAD this not through Past employer or new employer EAD or AP is based on YOUR pending I-485
3) How to find out the job title and responsibilities on my LC/I-140?
----LC form ETA750A item 13 has your job duties. employer submited job offer letter with I-485 if you have copy that may have the job duties
I really appreciate your sincere reply.

** as back up always apply EAD or AP 6 months advance

"My I-140 approved on Nov 2005. I-485 pending from Sep 2005. PD is Sep 2005"
---- I dont think your PD is Sep,2005, you filed I-485 in Sep 2005. you PD is the date LC was filed. your LC approval notice,I-140 approval notice or I-140 filing reciept may have PD on it
