I have two approved H1B petitions (from different employers). For the company A that I liked, the H1B approval got delayed.
In the meanwhile, I filed for stamping at the consulate with the Company B's approved petition. I am supposed to go to Delhi for that stamping in the coming week.
Given the time it is taking to get appointments in India, I am planning to proceed with stamping as planned and then instead of joining Company B, just start with Company A once I arrive in US. Does anyone sees any legal issues from USCIS side with that approach?
Also the Company A's petition is actually for Chennai consulate. If I do get my paperwork in time from Company A (the one that got delayed) can I take the Company A petition to Delhi instead of the Comapny B petition that I used to get the appointment originally?
Gurus, please let me know if you or any of your friends did this?
Thanks
