Can I have my h1b visa transferred to 2 companies?

I was just wondering. One company is working on transferring my h1b visa. Now, They are saying if the paperwork come back from USCIS with a I-94, then I don't need to go back to home country to get a visa stamp. Is this right? How does a h1b transfer process work? is it via "labor condition Application for H1b"?

Now, if they ask me to go back home, which i dont really want to, since i came from indonesia, where getting a visa is pretty much impossible, can I still transfer the H1b to my friend's company and work for him?

Thanks for the reply. Ok, let's say that company already began the h1b transfer process, and somehow I changed my mind and I want to have my friend's company to transfer it so i can work for him. Will there be any problem? Will CIS get suspicious that I'm changing employer to another one? What's the success rate?

Do you know, any company can make or transfer your H1 without your knowledge if they have all information about you. So you can transfer to any number.
