hello,guys

i got a question,,,,during the i-485 pending,,,can i go to us territories,,such as

puerto tico or guam without the Advanced Parole?

thanks for replying!!!

i am just not sure,,,wether the oversea territories are considered as homeland or states level of america

Hi qq2000s, I had a similar concern a year ago. My H1B status had expired prior to filing my adjustment of status. My husband had a business trip to Puerto Rico for a week and I wondered if I could go with just my driver's license and a plane ticket (without a valid visa coming back to mainland US). Our lawyer advised me NOT to go, so I didn't.

I get that you have a slightly different situation (you have an AP), but I just thought I'd share my situation.

i tried to search online for answer,,,,,unfortunatelly, there's no link about my issue.

the AP may be approved more than 2 or 3 months, but i already booked the ticket for recent.

Hi,

You CAN travel to PR, US Virgin Islands and other US territories BUT if by ANY chance you plane lands in a foreign country for ANY reason,

you'll be So Out Of Luck.

That's why the best advise is NOT to go.
