Hi,
My RD is aug 10 & ND is sep 26. I have to go to india for my brother marriage on may 25, i have AP until oct 2002. Since i have been to india 3 yrs back, i would like to stay there for atleast a month. So can any shed some light if i can go to india.

I am in the same situation.....I dont even have AP but my lawyer says that there is no problem.

That\'s why your AP is for. Going in and out of country. So go ahead and enjoy your brother\'s wedding.

You are in India for 1 month.
INS approves your 485 and you may miss the mail as you are out of country.

When Ur on vacation, U can withhold all ur posts in ur postoffice until u r back and collect those..and in this way u dont have to worry about \'missed\' posts during ur absence.
Just gotta fill a form at the local postoffice to hold all the mails from delivering to ur house
