I'm trying to get hold of my immunization records from the UK but it's going to take about 3 weeks to get them so I can't take my medical exam until then.

Can I file my I-130 + I-485 now and send in the medical exam results as soon as I can get them?

You will be sent an RFE after they receive your I-485 and then they will ask you to send that to them... this will delay your case for at least 3 weeks, and might cause problems (they could claim they never received your answer to the RFE).

So either way, you will lose 3 or more weeks and if you send it all together you won't have to take the extra risk.

Just what I did and got my GC no problems but it took couple of weeks extra to go back & Forth and worrying

at present situation I wouldn't recommend, what happens if they retract the dates in few weeks think about it

I am wondering what your medical UK records have to do with USCIS? USCIS requires that you undergo a new medical exam for the purpose of immigration, so you might as well go ahead and do it apart from your UK records. :cool:The whole process is inexpensive. I generally encourage all immigrants to send all required evidence to USCIS, they are incompetent at the least and as Praetorian indicated, it could happen that once they send you the RFE, you mail it and claim they never got is and deny your GC application for failure to provide evidence.

Once envelope containing all required evidence is highly recommended so that you can sail through the process. Good luck!!!

Al Southner: I need my UK vaccination records so that I don't have to pay for or get shots for all the immunizations that I've already had.

Thanks for the advice people.
