Can i get my EAD from LOCAL INS?

ND:1/17/02,
FP:02/02/02.
No EAD YET.
California resident.

Can i get the EAD card from local INS itself , with just the EAD receipt notice? If so how and what documents are required for the same?

I saw lots of people waiting for FP for a long time...

little bit frustrated seeing that....

my case is transferred to TSC though I applied in VSC (my current address is Oklahoma)...

Yes, You can....

My I485 is TSC. ND - 8/30. I got my EAD from local INS without any questions...

actually,
i applied for my I-485 in July \' 2001 - got rejected becas I-140 docs were not enclosed, applied again in Oct \' 2001 - got rejected in nov \' 2001 for insufficient fees, reapplied
in Dec \' 2001 and afterthat u know the story.
