Can I get H-4 for Wife if married after filing I-485

Hi,
 Can anybody help me in getting this answer ? Currently being single, I am thinking of filing 485. I am planing to get married after getting receipt ID, but before petition is approved. Will there be any problem in getting h-4 for wife from India ? Any body facing same issue/situation.

As long as you maintain H1 status after filing
AOS, your wife should be able to get an H4.

Ok,Continuing the discussion on this some more,

I understand that once we file the new I-9 form with the Employer (or IRS ) for EAD based employment, we are no longer on the H1 status LEGALLY.

But,if the Sponsoring Employer does not revoke the H1,I suspect that INS ( or any Immigration officer at Port of Entry ) would still believe we are on H1 status as the INS records still have our status as H1..

Am I correct or missing something.. ? or Is there a way INS records get updated from IRS ?
