Hi Rajiv,
My wife is an Australian Citizen, and I had applied for Provisional Partner Visa of Australia and had been granted. Then I got Green Card of USA. Now I am planning to go back to Australia, in which time I might get Permanent PR visa of Australia. I will live there for 5-6 months but will come back to USA. While there, I will still be working in USA company. I also have a house in USA. I want to live in USA but my partner can't come to USA, because she is also applying for PR for her parents in Australia and she can't leave Australia, due to her work-salary requirement. So I'm the one who needs to go to Australia. So, in this scenario can I have the PR of both US and Australia? Maintaining PR in Australia requires that I stay there for 2 years in 5 years. But while even there, I will be working for US company, since my work is remote and can work from anywhere. And I won't be staying outside USA for more than 6 months in a year. Will this be a problem?
