Can i get a IEAD while EAD is pending for 60days?

Hi guys,
I had my AOS interview on june 12th and my FBI name checks are pending.
Then i applied to EAD(ND for EAD is june 23rd) as i did not applied through my wife when applied for I485.

I have a EAD through employment and it expires on Augest 20th.
My question is what if i dont get the EAD before Aug 20th can i take info appoinment on 20th and request the officer to give me IEAD will they give it without any problems.
Please give me some input.

I thought iEAD is only when your I-485 EAD has not arrived 90 days after you filed your I-765. So in this case, you might not be eligible for iEAD. But if you try to talk to the officers, then maybe they could understand. It depends from DO to DO.

What's your DO?
 
Normally you must wait for the 90 day period but you can try, the least they can tell is no that you must wait.

I-EAD could be obtained when you have waited for more than 90 days from your RD / Some DO's take a RFE Date ( Depends on how your DO intpts the law ) .
I dont think it applies to your situation as your wait time is less than 90 days .
Get an Infopass and ask them for options . Good Luck

I will try to ask the office and see if they can give me IEAD.
My DO is atlanta.
 
You gotta make InfoPass appointment before you get to speak to an officer, so make the appointment ASAP. I made an appointment for myself last night, and it is 15 days away, so I would urge to do so soon.
