Can I file EAD/AP with Fedex Acknoledgement of 485 application

My company is not filing my AP/EAD as it is optional and since they have already extended my H1B by 3 yrs.
I am thinking of applying on my own, do I need to wait for I-485 receipt or I can attach the fedex transcript or signature acknowledgement as a proof that my I-485 was filed on such and such date.

Do you have any suggestions.

I understand that if I wait till Aug 17, then I will have to pay increased fees for the same application after July 30th. Is this true?

Is 485 receipt part of initial evidence or based on the Fedex receipt they will issue an RFE for me to send the receipt which I hope fully would have received by then.

As far as I know you would need the I-485 receipt# to apply for EAD/AP. If you apply based on Fedex acknowledgment, the USCIS would most likely reject it. My guess would be that the USCIS would need I-485 receipt#, in order to tie your EAD application with your pending I-485.
