The Child Citizenship Act of 2000 did not apply to you since you were not under 18 on February 27, 2001. The law from before that required that both your parents naturalized while you were under 18, or one parent naturalized and the other parent was a citizen at the time of your birth, or your parents were divorced and the parent having custody naturalized, or one parent died and the other parent naturalized. Your said your dad naturalized, but what was the situation with your mother? See the ILRC's nationality chart C and 8 FAM 301.9-9 for more details.
