Can I do this?

Hi all,

Can I apply for I-90 since I have not received my plastic for over two months now? or should I wait till 90 days (we have not received the plastic since PP over two months back)? Any idea how long does it take to get a response to I-90?

I called this number and after 3 or 4 times I talked to a nice lady who said that she initiated a query on behalf of my family and myself, she said it may take a month for a response, this was sometime last week, this week my old lawyer's gov liasion called in and they told him that our files were forwarded to storage instead of card unit so she initiated a request to get it back but my current lawyer is saying this can not be true since the physical file is not necessary to produce the cards so I am lost between all those.

I believe, first of all try to find about that they sent u mail or not yet? . if mailed and USPS could not deleverd it would go back and will be put into file untill u call and update addr.

I can und this is painful/frusted situation when after all long wait u gone through tough time and now card issue???? but don't panic. Panic won't help u, try to work out step by step and find it out what exactly happen, or we are still not sure that somthing that happen or its just normal in some cases that it takes upto 90 days. remember thats why when ppl go for pp and they were told that it may take upto 3-6 months. so don't worry much. relax, don't panic, and try to find out where it has been stuck?

I did not change my address since passport stamping. I am planning to wait on the enquery that those customer service initiated, so I will wait till after 90 days and see if I get it by then. My lawyer told me I should not be woried since I am already a LPR in the systems even so I do not have the physical card yet.
