Can I do h1 transfer based on the email approval of H1 extension

My H1B extension is approved through the premium service. I got the email notification about the approval, but the original I-797 approval notice is not delivered yet. I donot know when I can receive it.

My question is, can I file my H1B transfer petition (I decide to use premuim again) now based on the email approval of H1B extension, or do I have to wait for the original I-797 approval notice?

Because of some special situation, I would like to file the h1B transfer as soon as possible... That's why I feel I cannot wait for the I-797 any more.

USCIS sent you an email? Interesting.
Find your I797 receipt number, find the status online , take a printout of approval info, use that to send for H1 transfer.

better wait for the original I-797 approval notice and then file the H1 transfer with recent pay stubs

Yes, USCIS premium unit sent my lawyer an email about the approval. But the original document seems to take forever to arrive.

Maybe I need more patience here. But $1000 can not buy a quicker mail service, I am quite disappointed...
