Can I do 2nd FP earlier than the appointment?

got 2nd FP notice, appointment scheduled at the end of sep, I wonder whether I could have it done earlier than that? can I reschedule the appointment? has anybody have the experience of having FP done earlier in Cincinnati local office?

Early FP does not guarantee faster approval. Further, earlier FP also implies your FP will expire earlier in the future.

if I have my FP done earlier than the scheduled date, will BCIS probably have difficulty in matching the FP results with my file, then mess it up?

BTW, West Minister, apparently you have done an accurate research, 10000+ times, huh?! how did you count it? fingers+toes? :)
 
I don't think so. Updating on line doesn't mean BCIS updated your file.

I did early fp2 on July 17th. Online never get updated. When I checked with immigration officer (Local BCIS officer) told me that my file got updated on the same date. Told me, not to bother on line message.

One of my friend did early fp, his on line message got changed right after 3 days.

Don't worry, go ahead and do early fp.
 
I will encourage to do early fp. FP is valid for 15 months. If our cases are not approved in next 15 months, it's better to go back to our countries
