can i claim unemployment insurance benefits?

I got laid-off with ND180 days , just got FL down, waiting for approve, ND 2/27/01, question is: can I claim unemployment insurance benefits, is any problem for AC application?

I have same situation like you. My ND is 02/15/01.

I would like to know how do you stay in your sponsoring company ?
Without pay leaving ? or other way .

since my last pay will be 8/7, very close to my 180 day (8/27), one option is I am not take severance package, let them put me on payroll for other few weeks.

You cannot since you are not a permenant resident alient yet. Also if you are seeking Unemployment funds then you should stop working for that time and this may be direct violation of immigration rules of continuous employment... it is advisable to look for a job soon as opposed to standing at the unemployment queue at DOL. Also you need sufficent proof including that you are Permenant resident alien and that you have been rejected for employment by prospective employers to get this benefit..
