Can I change AOS to CP?

Is it possible to continue with CP in my Case?
My I-140 approved for CP & NVC created P3 on 2nd week of May 2002.
I filed 485 on April 2002. My employer is asking me to go to India and work from there till you get your Green card. What are all the options to go with CP in my case? Please suggest me on this.

withdraw 485

and file packet 3 (824 et al). service center will return your file to NVC and there might be a delay of a few months. But you might get the GC before anybody else who is applying 485 in Apl 2002.
