When my Dad's I-140 was filed in 2001, I was included in the section "Part 7. Information on Spouse and All Children of the Person for Whom you are Filing". At that stage, I was 19 and unmarried and residing outside the US.
When my dad's I-485 was filed, the attorney listed me as an Child of my Dad, but checked the "No" Box in the section "Applying with you?"
I am currently in the US and married and over the age of 21. I would like to know if I can benefit from my Dad's approved I-140 filing and submit my own I-485 now. If not, what path would I need to follow or what options do I have?
Thank you
