Can i ask the VSC to put a hold on my case ?

I am expecting possible denial for my I485 ( the lawyer didn\'t do the 140 redo for the company name change). I want to ask the VSC to put a hold on my case till the I140 redo is done.

Any body done that ? Is it possible to do that ?
