Attorney's fees vary by location and complexity of the situation. You should interview several to find one you have confidence in. Actually, I did ask other attorneys.
But it seems that they all have different opinions about the J visa.
I'm not sure why some of them don't feel confident in suggesting to work on a J1 visa application.
However the lawyer that quoted my case went straight to a J1 visa without considering other types of visas.
Do you know why this might happen?
