can i ask for holding my interview a few months later?

I'm living in other states than the place where I submitted my file(SF office) but plan to move back, (I was trying to transfer my case here but I forgot the AR 11 thing ), but my current rent lease will last till the end of July, if I move back now then I will pay the double rent fees. the bulletin schedule implies that probably my file will be in its turn in 3 months so it's a very hurry thing. Should I write a letter to SF office to ask for holding my case for a few months or I just don't have such right to do that? Thank you everybody here! any suggestion will be appreciated!
 
well i would advice you not to write because it takes forever before they will reschedule you. As for your apartment you can still keep it and no need for double rent. If they invite you for interview it only take a few hours. After which u can travel back. U dont have to rent a house because your interview is close.
