Can I apply GC if I'm on OPT? If I can do that, how early should I file GC before my OPT expires? Anybody?

Can I apply GC if I'm on OPT?

Yes, you may. But, you may have problems traveling outside and re-entering U.S.A while you are on F1 visa as F1 visa holders are presumed to have non-immigrant intent.

If I can do that, how early should I file GC before my OPT expires?

There is no time restriction. Whenever your employer is willing to file your GC.
