i am in the US and look to apply for a oci for my newborn to the frro office in chennai.
taking a visitor visa here and will collect the oci at chennai 4 months later.
Thought if i apply for oci right now, and travel date is 2 monhts later, by the time i caome back from india, i will have the oci, since it takes 4 monhts.
should 1 apply for oci in india only if they are in india ?
