Hi Everyone,
I am a housewife on H4 & am planning to start a company in FL. The CEO/sole employee is going to be from PA .
At the time of forming the company, they are asking for a Registered Agent ,the qualifications being : -
1) Should be Resident of the state where the business is registered. (Which I am )
2) Should have a postal address. (Which I have)
Role: Registered Agent is the person or office designated to receive official state correspondence and notice if the company is "served" with a lawsuit.
Can I be the Registered Agent on H4? Alternatively should I hire some one from my state to take the correspondence?
