Can Greencard holder bring kith and kin to study and live?

We are a green card holder and have only one child and would like to bring close relatives(kid under 21) from homecountry to live and study here and give company to our daughter. Can this be done? on which visa?

As far as I know, GC holder can not sponser for other than immediate relatives. The kids need to get non-immigrant visa(if s/he is not qualified to VWP) to enter the US.
