Can get I-EAD at different Service Center Jurisdiction?

I have applied for my EAD (Electronic) The last week of March. I am from NSC, but I will be travelling every week to New York for the next few months, so is it possible that if my EAD doesn't arrive in time, I can applyfor I-EAD at a district office in New York?

Has anyone done this before?
 
Yes, you can. Some District offices will require a local address Driver's licence, but other than that you will be able to go to any district office to get iEAD.

I found that out after i flew to TSC jurisdiction office, just to get my iEAD.

The experience costed me 400 bucks
