Can GC interview be postponed?

HI All

I and my wife got lettes for interviews at Fairfax office. But my wife may not be able to go due to another important appt. Is it possible that she postpone it and what are the consequences?.

Also Mine is AC21 case and is it worth paying an attorney to take along to the interview. Please share any experiences

Yes, You can postpone the appointment by writing a letter to the Fairfax Office and also include the copy of your interview letter. There is no consequences about postponing the interview, they will schedule to a later date and one of my friends have done this earlier. There is no need to take an attorney even if you are AC21.

my wife sent a reschedule letter one year ago, her case got denied!
had to apply for motion to reconsider (around 360$), and re-opened after 6 months.
She just got an interview letter recently (1 year later).
