Can GC be mailed to a PO Box address?

Hello friends:

Has anybody used a PO BOX address for receiving GC. I plan to get passport stamping tommorrow and plan to move in the next few weeks. Although the time interval between passport stamping and receiving GC is on the average 3-4 weeks, it can take longer. It would be easier for me to keep the PO BOx address instead of continuing to rent till GC arrival.

Any input will be appreciated.

Can you let me know how PO box is oK as there are some people including my lawyer who says you should give residential address. please let me know if you know of somebody who received it on a PO box address.

Hi,

Let them know that you only have a PO Box. If they object, have it mailed to a friend or employer.
 
Especially, since you are moving. Let them know your situation when you go for stamping. Have an alternative address with you.

Should be no problem.
