Hi,
I am planning on applying for citizenship ( from CA Bay Area / Fremont ) end of this month, but I will be out of the country for a 35 days after that.
I was wondering if it is possible to reschedule the finger print appointment If I get and miss the appointment while I am out of the country.
From what I have read in this forum, the finger print appointments are usually scheduled within a month of the application.

Also, My wife will be out of the country for a short visit during the time I file our application, but will be back after I file the application, so should I put down the expected date of her return - while putting down - 'dates outside the country'.

Also should I put down the dates I will be out of the country ( after the application filing date ) or should this be mentioned during the interview.

Otherwise is it adviseable to wait till we are back from our foreign visits and then file the application?

Thanks,
SR

yes, you can reschedule it if you miss it, you have to write an letter requesting for an re-schedule and explain why you were unable to appear for the first time, i had missed mine while i was out of the country.

Thanks for the response.
Do they reschedule it immediately or is there a long delay for the next FP appointment?
Thanks,
SR
