Can Finger Print be done before getting the notice!!!

hi there!

my wife is planning to go to india for extended period. and she hasn\'t got the notice for finger print till now. would there be possiblity of getting the finger prints done before she leave. it\'s been 2 months since my compnay applied for 485. are there any special process for this type of case.

if yes! please let me know how ???? anyone out there has got into this situation.

But wait to see what others have to say about doing FP with out a notice..........

However I can help you on the other thing if you can give me RD/ND of your wife\'s 485 and also the place where you live....probably I can give you an estimate......
 
I am also in same boat

Waiting for FP notice. I just guess-estimated
the expected FP arrival date and planned the
trip and booked ticket....WAC-02-010-xxxxx..
all speculation...may go wrong...I am under
San Jose ASC which suffers the most....I am
expecting the FP notice around March-April...
 
The point is the ASC will not do your FP without the notice. But, somehow....

if you managed to do your FP, your processing should go on as everybody else\'s. FBI sends the response to INS. That response is printed and put in your file by fileroom clerks. Later when your background check report comes in, that too makes its way into your file and the file itself makes its way to the adjudication shelf. All of this is hypothetical though. You would not even get past the security guard without the notice. They look at your notice and then at your hands to even see if you can be FP\'ed. Some ASC\'s are even very steadfast in that you cannot do your FP\'s before the scheduled date. I guess there is nothing else for you folks to do other than wait for the notice. My 2 cents.
