Can employer revoke I-485?

Just got laid off. PD: 02/99; RD/ND: 04/02; FP:06/03 (manual request). In the process to find a new job.
Just wondering, in the extreme case (I don't think my ex-employer will do that but just in case), can they revoke my I-485 or I 140? Am I very safe as long as I find another job and don't have to worry about my ex-employer?
I think this question was asked before but can't find which page.
